Key Responsibilities:
- Review alerts and cases with a focus on Sanctions and Geo Control compliance.
- Assess customer appeals and escalations related to the Sanctions process, providing effective support to users for timely case resolution.
- Manage high volumes of incoming cases and make critical decisions within tight deadlines and regulatory timelines.
- Document case details, including review notes, actions taken, and recommended outcomes.
- Collect relevant data and objective information from both platform and external sources to support subjective determinations throughout the case lifecycle.
- Support risk assessment by identifying potential risks, patterns, and trends based on case reviews.
- Identify and escalate compliance risks and improvement opportunities to Compliance Leadership accurately.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 2-3 years of experience in compliance operations, specifically in KYC/AML, payments, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to understand logical connections between diverse data points.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on adaptability and resilience.
- Proficient in articulating complex case patterns clearly.
- Ability to gather objective data, make informed subjective determinations, and defend decisions verbally and in writing.
- Skilled in building trust and collaborating effectively with team members and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and process management skills.
- High personal integrity, demonstrated interest in payments, commitment to excellence, leadership abilities, and a flexible, creative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying skills is highly preferred.
