Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for financial accounting matters across business lines and control functions.
- Review essential activities related to ledger account maintenance, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
- Gather and organize financial data for financial and regulatory reporting purposes.
- Verify data accuracy by reviewing information from the general ledger, unit reports, and various financial systems.
- Work under manager guidance, exercising independent judgment while building knowledge of financial control functions aligned with the company’s internal control policies.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to address issues and meet objectives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- At least 6 months of experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting, or Risk Reporting, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum of 6 months of advanced experience with SQL and Alteryx development.
- Strong understanding of RDBMS systems, including Teradata, Oracle, and MS SQL Server.
- Experience with the Data Management lifecycle, encompassing data analysis, data profiling, data acquisition, and data quality principles.
- Proficient in data management concepts, processes, and tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Ability to create reports from databases and data marts.
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI with SQL as the back-end data source.
- Capability to support data migrations, system transitions, data mapping, data lineage, data reconciliation, and documentation, adhering to policy and governance standards.
- Consultative skills to understand stakeholder needs, identify automation opportunities, and deliver solutions that support global client services.
- Business Intelligence (BI) expertise in creating reusable visualizations and dashboards, with experience in multi-view navigation, filters, and supporting self-service by other analysts in the same domain.
- Proficiency in SQL for accessing, combining, and calculating data, creating temporary tables, and structuring data to meet common BI requirements like drilling or side-by-side comparisons.
- Strong documentation skills, including requirements gathering, query documentation, and testing documentation.
