Key Responsibilities for Cloud Support Associate:
- Learn and implement cutting-edge technologies.
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to deliver tailored solutions for customers’ specific needs.
- Collaborate with leading technologists globally to resolve customer issues.
- Lead customer communication during critical events and ensure timely updates.
Key Responsibilities for IT Support Associate:
- Demonstrate effective communication skills by interacting clearly and concisely with Amazon internal customers across APAC, EMEA, AMER Operations, IT teams, and customer support.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in daily operations.
- Possess basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Have a foundational understanding and troubleshooting skills for various operating systems, with a focus on Windows and Linux.
- Work on a rotational shift schedule in a 24×7 environment to provide real-time customer support.
- Meet OTS Service Desk goals by adhering to response and resolution SLAs, maintaining high CSAT scores, and effectively managing incidents.
- This role is based at the Bangalore (BLR18) corporate office.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma is required.
- 0 to 18 months of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of ITIL-based ticketing and monitoring tools.
- Fundamental troubleshooting skills in networking.
- Knowledge of operating system concepts and basic systems administration for Linux/Unix systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) and databases.
- Strong customer focus and effective multitasking abilities.
- Exposure to cloud computing technologies.
