Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all defined cost accounting activities.
- Understand corporate policies and monitor key cost accounting metrics.
- Implement time-saving and cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the operations team to track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
- Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclassifications in the ERP system.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with the latest processes and document them in the Document Management System (DMS).
- Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.com/BBA (Finance)/M.com/MBA (Finance).
- Freshers or individuals with 0-2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
Preferred skills:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong team player with good analytical abilities.
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills in daily processes.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies.
