Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and publish worldwide environmental reports for all Desktop, Notebook, or Mobility products, with a focus on EMEA and MEMA requirements such as EU RoHS product compliance.
- Track and report the status of all NPI and sustaining products on a weekly basis, emphasizing non-compliant parts.
- Report to cross-functional supply chain teams (both internal and regional) to ensure the execution of all deliverables meets the business units’ needs.
- Drive the resolution of non-compliant parts with internal HP owners and track progress.
- Collaborate with the internal programming team to develop and update automated reporting functions as required.
- Manage regulatory projects affecting sustaining products.
- Participate as a team member in data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to identify process gaps, root cause issues, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and apply a broad range of techniques from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights.
- Perform data collection, analysis procedures, and data insight visualizations for assigned projects in accordance with the plan and team guidance.
- Assist in performing experiments and validations as per the overall plan.
- Collect, record, and analyze data using established protocols and processes; communicate findings to team members for review and feedback.
- Assist in the preparation of literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; create patent applications and supporting documentation.
- Apply foundational principles and contribute proactively to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments.
- Support priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, and sharing information via standardized reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Four-year degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience and demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Certification in a programming language such as SQL, Python, or similar.
