Key Responsibilities:
- Build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.
- Ensure the provision of top-notch cloud products that meet the needs of customers tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges.
- Solve difficult problems in distributed, highly available services and virtualized infrastructure.
- Design and build innovative new systems to power customers’ business-critical applications.
- Make a significant technical and business impact at every level.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proven track record of delivering high-scale, high-impact cloud solutions.Obsessed with exceeding customer expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
- High standards, never satisfied with mediocrity, always aiming for excellence.
- Comfortable with ambiguity in chaotic and fluid environments.
- Passionate about technology and confident in defending opinions with peers and superiors.
- S in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Proficient in development with Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, networking, security, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers throughout the entire launch process.
- Proficient with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a strong plus.
Preferred skills:
- Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle).
- Experience building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules.
- Experience with big data technologies like Kafka, Apache Spark, and Lucene.
