Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze variances in all profit and loss account items and arrive at logical conclusions.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and external financial accounting requirements, including record-keeping and reporting auditing functions.
- Support Executives and Managers in research assignments and compliance-related tasks.
- Evaluate internal control systems and procedures, prepare audit reports to highlight shortcomings, and provide necessary recommendations.
- Conduct tax audits to ensure proper disclosures and compliance with various tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of Audit Programs and follow up with clients to gather information.
- Stay continually updated with developments in audit-related areas and be responsible for updating team members.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation and completion of IPCC (both groups cleared or one cleared and awaiting results for the second).
Preferred skills:
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Comfort in interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client).
