Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Integrity Due Diligence, Counterparty Due Diligence, and Senior Management Due Diligence checks to aid clients in evaluating reputation, regulatory, and jurisdictional risks.
- Perform research utilizing diverse online sources, particularly commercial registries and corporate databases across multiple countries and languages.
- Translate and condense information from various languages into precise and accurate English reports.
- Integrate the aforementioned abilities to produce timely and pertinent reports for clients.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in conducting thorough secondary research.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in analyzing financial statements.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and corporate structures, including the ability to decipher intricate ownership structures, interpret documentation, and conduct external research.
- Experience with OFAC and negative news screening databases such as LexisNexis, World Check, Dow Jones, and Google News, as well as expertise in utilizing corporate registries.
- Capability to translate and succinctly summarize foreign language information into accurate and concise English language reports.
Preferred skills:
- Possessing 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, especially within professional services firms, third-party KPOs, or internal research/strategy teams at major technology companies.
- Demonstrating the ability to work independently, with appropriate supervision or guidance from Team Leads, Assistant Managers, or Managers.
- Exhibiting exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Showing meticulous attention to detail.
- Adapting to dynamic environments characterized by shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Displaying a strong drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks in achieving team, project, or client objectives.
- Exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality as required.
