Key Responsibilities for Analyst:
- Lead data science projects from inception to completion, ensuring reproducibility throughout the process.
- Deploy and manage data pipelines and models within a production environment.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to validate and optimize methodologies for production readiness.
- Conduct research and analytics to validate the effectiveness of methodologies, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Communicate research findings effectively to diverse audiences.
- Establish and uphold programming standards and practices within data science and analytics codebases.
- Advocate for and enforce best practices in data usage and software development.
- Utilize git and cloud development tools extensively to enhance data science workflows iteratively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s degree, in a quantitative research field such as computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, biological/physical sciences, etc.
- Possesses 1-2 years of experience in code development or research within a business environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL, Unix, git, and AWS (S3 and EC2).
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Displays excellent software engineering fundamentals.
- Shows proficiency in debugging software.
- Possesses strong fundamentals in machine learning.
- Demonstrates outstanding statistical and analytical skills.
- Has experience in collaborative code development, including version control, unit/integration testing, code review, and sharing.
- Displays curiosity and skepticism in approaching problem-solving tasks.
