Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and revising ingredient databases to align with the latest scientific and regulatory standards.
- Working closely with Research & Development and Supply Chain teams to guarantee the safety of ingredients and final products.
- Conducting risk assessments and delivering toxicological assistance for product advancement and innovation.
- Addressing internal and external inquiries regarding product safety and ingredient details.
- Detail-oriented and possessing strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with various business areas. Familiarity with toxicological databases and regulatory requirements.
- Adapting to the evolving landscape of consumer safety, you will explore innovative methods to manage and communicate ingredient and toxicological data.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Toxicology, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a relevant field of study.
- Proficient in database management and proficient with regulatory compliance tools.
- Thorough understanding of toxicological principles and methodologies for risk assessment.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex scientific information clearly and effectively.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, with a focus on health, oral care, or personal care products.
- Knowledge of Colgate’s product portfolio and comprehension of the regulatory environment impacting our business (for internal candidates).
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and regulatory frameworks. Effective project management abilities and adeptness in coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
