Key Responsibilities:
Support Perspective:
- Handle incidents and support requests promptly.
- Understand business processes and Vestas’ way of working.
- Provide L1 support to system users.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction for these systems.
- Complete tasks assigned by shift supervisors or line managers.
- Shadow senior staff members, ask questions, and assist where needed.
- Enhance practical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills through experience.
Operations Perspective:
- Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends relevant to the role.
- Keep abreast of new developments and upgrades in the systems.
- Conduct regression testing related to system maintenance, improvement, and release deployment.
- Deploy packages and builds to Test and Production servers.
- Monitor IT issues with a sense of urgency to ensure proper prioritization and resolution.
- Prepare knowledge base articles.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Open to fresh graduates (2023/2024) or individuals with a minimum of 1 year of support experience.
- Exhibit a can-do attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with any manufacturing or shop-floor applications is an added advantage.
- Exposure to ERP tools, particularly SAP PP/MM modules, is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Aptitude for learning manufacturing business processes.
- Broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of wind turbines.
- Exposure to Delmia Apriso and Infor EAM.
- Strong documentation skills.
Behavioral Skills:
- Effective communication skills to engage with a wide range of global stakeholders.
- Proactive with the proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Structured and analytical approach to work.Good team player and quick learner.
- Flexible to work in shifts and provide monthly support for regression testing.
