Key Responsibilities for Assistant Engineer:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for tasks requiring technical expertise in a 24/7 capability hosted in Automated Operations.
- Engage in shift operations according to the defined shift roster and actively monitor ticket queues to ensure timely responses.
- Concentrate on enhancing automated recovery processes.
- Provide escalation support for Service surveillance and Field service.
- Guarantee the continuous availability and performance of services to customers in adherence to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
Key Responsibilities for Automation Analyst:
- Collaborate with business and vendors to comprehend functional requirements, including fields needed, mapping logic, calculations, and employee eligibility.
- Collaborate with vendors to comprehend technical requirements and identify any limitations, such as file format, changes versus full updates, header/trailer information, and field length restrictions.
- Ensure vendor compliance with Ericsson security requirements, specifically SFTP transfers with PGP encryption.
- Document comprehensive business and technical requirements in a functional specification.
- Initiate a project assessment by submitting a support request to the payroll vendor.
- Review requirements with the payroll vendor to ensure a thorough understanding.
- Confirm that neither the business nor the vendor requests fields that are not present in the payroll system.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
- Hold a degree, diploma, or possess equivalent experience, particularly in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud technologies.
- Possess basic knowledge and practical experience in scripting.
- Understand core and access network performance, configuration parameters, and their interpretation and utilization.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Proficient in building Knowledgebase Solutions using any Knowledgebase platform.
