Tech. in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong skills in analysis, coding, testing, and documentation.Proficient in Object-Oriented Concepts, data structures, and algorithms.Knowledgeable about operating system concepts.Understanding of networking concepts.Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C#.Net<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C\/C++<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VB.Net<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Academic projects in any of these or related areas would be a plus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to micro-service architecture using Docker and Git configuration management is a bonus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with Visual Studio 2017\/2019\/2022 on Windows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with Visual Studio Code on Linux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent self-starter committed to meeting deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable working in a team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ciena (NYSE:CIEN) is a global leader in optical and routing systems, services, and automation software.
