The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Societe Generale<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Trainee<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Graduate Degree\/ MBA<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Batch<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Recent Batches<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Freshers<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Mumbai<\/strong>,<strong> India<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Stay updated on changes and trends in domestic banking laws, regulations, and other regulatory guidelines, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders; assist in updating internal policies as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with the Reserve Bank of India for the Risk Based Supervision exercise and manage responses to any findings or queries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement and adhere to compliance policies and procedures set by the Head Office and local regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that compliance deficiencies, customer complaints, and regulatory inquiries are thoroughly investigated, reviewed, and rectified within prescribed time frames.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct periodic Compliance Risk Assessments and prepare and execute the annual Compliance Plan and Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in the implementation of programs for Anti-Bribery &amp; Corruption, Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Interest, Gifts &amp; Events, including monitoring, investigation, and reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertake voice surveillance of the dealing room, including monitoring, investigation, and reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the adoption and implementation of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) policies and procedures from the Head Office and local regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure timely investigation, review, and rectification of compliance deficiencies, customer complaints, and regulatory inquiries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in conducting periodic Compliance Risk Assessments and executing the annual Compliance Plan and Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AMLO) in implementing anti-money laundering programs, including monitoring, investigation, and reporting suspicious transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review KYC files and perform Enhanced Due Diligence as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review files from an embargoes and sanctions perspective, seeking approval where necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and resolve alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in training and awareness workshops for staff on compliance and AML-CFT\/KYC\/S&amp;E matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with general compliance matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academic Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate pursuing professional qualifications such as CS or MBA, with good knowledge and a readiness to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, including proficient email writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong conviction and a positive attitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Language Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Good command of English, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Computer Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in basic office automation (MS Office) within a Windows operating environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skilled in using web-enabled databases and search engines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Societe Generale is one of the leading European financial services groups.
