The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Paytm<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Data Engineer<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Batch<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>2018\/ 2019\/ 2020\/ 2021\/ 2022\/ 2023\/ 2024<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Freshers\/ Experienced<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Hybrid<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Enhance our analytics capabilities by developing faster and more reliable data pipelines and improving tools, managing petabytes of data daily.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brainstorm and create new platforms, as well as migrate existing ones to AWS, to make data accessible to cluster users with low latency and horizontal scalability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modify our data platform, refactoring or redesigning as necessary, and troubleshoot issues across the entire technical stack.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and implement a real-time events pipeline for data ingestion to support real-time dash-boarding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop complex and efficient functions to transform raw data sources into robust components of our data lake.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and implement new components using various emerging technologies in AWS, and the Hadoop Eco System, ensuring successful project execution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimize and enhance existing features or data processes for improved performance and stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct peer design and code reviews, write unit tests, and support continuous integration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prioritize quality and ensure minimal production downtimes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentor peers, share information and knowledge, and contribute to building a cohesive team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor job performance, file system and disk-space management, cluster and database connectivity, log files, backup\/security management, and troubleshoot various user issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, network, and database teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Possess proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, and Spark.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibit excellent programming and debugging skills in Java\/Scala.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience working with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferably have experience with NoSQL databases like HBase and Cassandra.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring experience with BI Tools such as AWS QuickSight, Dashboarding, and Metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate hands-on programming experience with multithreaded applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideally have experience in Database, SQL, and messaging queues like Kafka.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferably have experience in developing streaming applications, e.g., Spark Streaming, Flink, Storm, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideally have experience with AWS and cloud technologies, including S3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess experience with caching architectures like Redis, Memcached, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring expertise in memory optimization and GC tuning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience with profiling and performance optimizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibit experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Paytm is India\u2019s leading digital payments and financial services company, which is focused on driving consumers and merchants to its platform by offering them a variety of payment use cases.
