The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Shorelight  <\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Staff Accountant<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Batch<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>2018\/ 2019\/ 2020\/ 2021\/ 2022\/ 2023<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>1 &#8211; 2 (Years)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Work From Home (Remote)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly financial close entries and balance sheet reconciliations, covering areas such as cash, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, payables, intercompany\/consolidation, and accruals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide guidance and oversight to team members supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the Finance team to handle all financial aspects of assigned partnerships, including the maintenance of KPIs for corporate expenditures and operational metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generate monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for senior leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist management in monthly and quarterly financial reviews by documenting analyses that explain unusual adjustments and deviations from the budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Holds a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possesses a minimum of 1-2 years of practical accounting experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrates expertise in using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brings experience in budgeting, month-end processes, and accruals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibits a keen attention to detail along with exceptional organizational and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Displays strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adapts effectively to changing business requirements and adeptly manages multiple priorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Works well both independently and collaboratively within a team.Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shows a customer service focus with a demonstrated ability to communicate courteously and promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible to work in the United States and travel freely without the need for sponsorship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in using a CRM system, with specific experience in Salesforce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with accounting software, including expertise in NetSuite or a comparable large-scale ERP platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with Coupa, showcasing proficiency in the platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge and hands-on experience with FloQast, a tool similar to Blackline, indicating expertise in financial close and accounting processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Shorelight is a leading international student marketplace in the United States.
