The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong><strong>Ciena\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong><strong>Support Engineer Intern<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Batch<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>2021\/ 2022 \/ 2023\/ 2024<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Freshers<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Gurugram<\/strong> <strong>(Work From Home<\/strong>)<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to incoming calls from our international clients and document, validate, and gather sufficient data to support a technical inquiry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through a variety of communication methods (phone, email, chat), we promptly and professionally address client questions and offer remote technical assistance for problems with our network management tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigate and quickly fix platform faults, performance difficulties, and configuration issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When necessary, perform on-call duties around-the-clock and\/or work shifts during holidays and the weekend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recover the data you need to contact senior engineers about reported problems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilise lab research and debugging tools to solve technical issues for customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As necessary, give internal teams customer input.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the KCS technical knowledgebase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess great communication skills and be able to express themselves both orally and in writing in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to stakeholders of all backgrounds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After starting the job, there will be time for onsite, in-person training and mentoring for about six months, after which a hybrid work arrangement will be feasible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A focus on the needs of the customer and a strong dedication to offering top-notch customer service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to prioritise activities well and operate independently in a hectic atmosphere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the capacity to identify, troubleshoot, and solve issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dedicated self-starter with good time management abilities, aptitude for learning new ideas, and willingness to do so.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A working knowledge of optical networking and transport and switching systems for telecommunications applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with customers would be advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic understanding of performance monitoring tools, network management systems, and network protocols (such as SNMP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of operating systems, databases, and microservices, as well as some basic problem-solving skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic understanding of how fibre optic switching and\/or transit equipment works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ciena (NYSE:CIEN) is a global leader in optical and routing systems, services, and automation software.
