The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>S&amp;P Global<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Data Analyst &#8211; Data Operations<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Postgraduate degree\/ MBA\/ PGDM<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Freshers<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Mumbai, India<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Process and analyze financial documents received from General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs), including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, and investment schedules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access GP portals and document repositories to download, categorize, and accurately tag fund-related documents with appropriate metadata.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extract, standardize, and validate data from Private Equity documents, including Partners\u2019 Capital Account Statements, cash flow statements, and investment schedules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify appropriate accounting classifications and classify data items related to fund-level investments and portfolio companies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform data quality checks, resolve exceptions identified through manual quality control reviews and automated validation logs, and ensure compliance with defined data standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare routine reports and conduct basic trend analysis to support internal analytics and operational decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support data cleansing initiatives to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with process improvement, Lean initiatives, and automation projects, including basic SQL-based data analysis and processing tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data collection, processing, and validation procedures to ensure auditability and future reference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve individual and team targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in ad-hoc projects supporting business expansion, data enhancement, process optimization, and automation initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For freshers, a postgraduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. An MBA in Finance, PGDM, or equivalent qualification is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role operates under a global service delivery model and requires flexibility to work rotational shifts aligned with Asia, EMEA, and US business hours, based on business requirements. During peak periods, such as quarter-end or year-end reporting, extended working hours or shift overlaps may be required to meet delivery timelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen attention to detail, are required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Basic knowledge of SQL and Python is preferred, while familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to automation, Lean methodologies, or Generative AI (GenAI) tools is an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of basic accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet stringent deadlines is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to ask questions, and commitment to continuous improvement are expected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred Skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic understanding of Private Equity, Real Estate, and Alternative Investment operations, including fund accounting and investor reporting concepts, is preferred. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General awareness of capital markets, alternative investments, and Private Equity is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>S&amp;P Global Sustainable1 is the central source for sustainably intelligence from S&amp;P Global.
