The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>HSBC<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Junior Test Analyst<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Experienced<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bangalore, India (Hybrid)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Support test preparation by reviewing business and functional requirements to understand scope, as well as regulatory and control impacts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in designing, documenting, and maintaining test cases and test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage and clear traceability to requirements and controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the development of test plans, including defining execution schedules, environments, and entry and exit criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute system, functional, and regression test cases, ensuring accurate and consistent recording of test results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log defects with clear and reproducible steps, including relevant data, and perform retesting once fixes are implemented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain up-to-date defect logs, participate in defect triage discussions, and collaborate with Technology teams to clarify and resolve issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capture, organize, and maintain test evidence in accordance with governance standards to ensure audit readiness and proper version control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles by coordinating with business users, addressing queries, and consolidating test results and sign-offs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in validating control outputs, exception reports, and regulatory reporting changes from a testing perspective.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a methodical and process-driven approach to work, with strong organizational skills, clear written communication, and proactive escalation of risks or issues, particularly within tight regulatory timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Possess 2\u20135 years of experience in testing\/QA or change delivery within Financial Services, or equivalent internship exposure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change management lifecycle, including UAT support and release processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibit hands-on experience in executing structured system, functional, and regression test cases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, or similar platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate disciplined defect lifecycle management, including clear logging, classification, tracking, and retesting of issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess the ability to interpret business and functional requirements and translate them into test conditions and expected outcomes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibit strong attention to detail and documentation practices, ensuring traceability and audit-ready test evidence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate comfort in working with datasets, including validating calculations and verifying report outputs for accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show awareness of regulatory and control requirements, and their impact on test coverage and evidence documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have exposure to Global Markets or trading environments, including front-to-back workflows (preferred but not mandatory).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re a financial services organisation that serves more than 40 million customers, ranging from individual savers and investors to some of the world\u2019s biggest companies and governments.
