class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Execute data validation queries to compare source systems (Yellowbricks\/Informatica outputs) with target systems (Databricks\/Snowflake\/dbt outputs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform row count validations between source and target tables to ensure data completeness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct aggregate validations, including sums, counts, averages, distinct counts, and min\/max checks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out sample-based and cell-level comparisons for critical data entities and fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validate schema consistency by verifying data types, field lengths, precision\/scale, nullable attributes, and constraints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and log discrepancies, analyze data patterns, and collaborate with developers to support root cause analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand Informatica mappings, workflows, and their expected outputs for accurate validation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validate dbt models (staging, core, and marts) on Snowflake against legacy Informatica outputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test Databricks notebooks and jobs to ensure accurate replication of Yellowbricks logic, including transformations, joins, filters, and aggregations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validate Change Data Capture (CDC) and incremental data loads, ensuring correct handling of new, updated, and deleted records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute functional testing to verify correct implementation of business rules post-migration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform regression testing during each migration phase to ensure previously validated data and workflows remain consistent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support end-to-end integration testing across systems, including Source to Databricks\/Snowflake and dbt to downstream reporting layers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validate downstream outputs such as reports, extracts, and interfaces consuming migrated data (as applicable).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in basic performance testing by comparing query and job runtimes against baseline benchmarks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor data pipelines for job failures, retries, and anomalies in data volumes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute test cases, document results, and maintain traceability aligned with business and technical requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log defects with clear reproduction steps, supporting data samples, and evidence (e.g., screenshots, SQL queries) in defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retest resolved defects and support regression testing cycles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain test repositories, test datasets, and execution logs for audit, reuse, and compliance purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in daily stand-ups and defect triage discussions with onshore and offshore teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Possess 2\u20134 years of experience in Software Testing\/Quality Assurance, including at least 2+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have practical experience in data migration or data platform modernization projects (highly preferred).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical Skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate strong SQL proficiency, with the ability to write complex queries involving joins, aggregations, window functions, and filters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have hands-on experience working with at least one data platform, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or other cloud-based data warehouse\/big data platforms (experience with Snowflake\/Databricks is an advantage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess working knowledge of Informatica, including an understanding of mappings, workflows, and expected outputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show exposure to dbt or willingness to learn dbt-based validations, including model outputs and test results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibit a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, including fact and dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), data aggregation, data grain, and source-to-target mapping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be familiar with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, or qTest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience using Excel or similar tools for managing validation results and reconciliation artifacts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Soft Skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to data validation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess the ability to analyze data discrepancies and effectively collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2
