The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Capco<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Financial Accounting<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Freshers\/ Experienced<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Across India<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Perform financial accounting and product control activities for a wide range of international banking products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure accurate accounting treatment of banking products in compliance with IFRS 9 and applicable local GAAP requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design, document, and maintain financial accounting processes, including end-to-end transaction flows and controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze and interpret transaction details to ensure correct booking, classification, and reporting within financial systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the maintenance, governance, and accuracy of the Chart of Accounts across products, business units, and legal entities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with Front Office, Product Control, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to identify, investigate, and resolve accounting and reporting issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, control effectiveness, and documentation standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide support during audits, regulatory examinations, and internal control reviews, ensuring timely and accurate responses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in financial accounting, product control, or Front Office functions within an international banking environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid understanding of core banking products, including loans, deposits, derivatives, and securities, along with their accounting treatment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience in designing, documenting, and maintaining financial accounting processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of transaction descriptions and their impact on accounting entries and financial reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience applying IFRS 9 and relevant local GAAP accounting standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of Chart of Accounts structures and familiarity with financial and accounting systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred Qualifications:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent practical experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working in large global or regional banking institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements and audit engagements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Competencies:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and regulated environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong documentation, process mapping, and control design skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven stakeholder management and teamwork abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Capco, a Wipro company, is a global technology and management consultancy specializing in driving digital transformation in the financial services industry.
