The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Thomson Reuters<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Junior Accessibility Tester<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Experienced<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Hyderabad, India<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct accessibility testing on assigned products and identify, document, and report defects related to WCAG compliance violations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate strong testing proficiency while consistently meeting defined productivity and quality benchmarks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply a clear understanding of accessibility testing methodologies, tools, and assistive technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate closely with Design, Product Management, and Product Engineering teams to support accessibility testing throughout the product development lifecycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work in coordination with the Testing Lead to ensure timely completion, accuracy, and alignment with expectations for all testing requests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a clear understanding of testing priorities and effectively manage assigned workloads.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop thorough knowledge of defect drafting standards and bug tracking\/reporting tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review, understand, and effectively implement feedback provided by stakeholders and team leads.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, including mandatory training and accurate time tracking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhere to Thomson Reuters\u2019 accessibility policies, standards, and internal guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay up to date with evolving accessibility standards, regulations, and industry best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuously enhance skills and domain knowledge in the field of accessibility testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Science, Information Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an accessibility-related role or domain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility guidelines and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools, including JAWS\u00ae, NVDA, and automated accessibility testing solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar defect tracking tools for logging, managing, and tracking bugs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to successfully facilitate accessibility testing across cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong influencing skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, exercise sound judgment, and make effective decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates who are users of assistive technologies are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomson Reuters is the world\u2019s leading provider of news and information-based tools to professionals.
