The complete information, eligibility criteria, and requirements are provided below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Company Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>adidas<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Junior Data Engineer<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/td><td><strong><strong>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Batch<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>2018\/ 2019\/ 2020\/ 2021\/ 2022\/ 2023<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Experienced<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Location<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Gurgaon<\/strong>,<strong> India<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Data Engineering:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Develop data pipelines using Apache Spark in the AWS environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create fact tables for the Analytics team in Databricks Lakehouse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Code in SQL, Python, and\/or Scala.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automate processes by implementing CI\/CD in Jenkins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write clean, readable, well-designed, and well-documented code with tests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in all Sprint rituals in collaboration with the EU eCom team in Amsterdam and data engineers in the Gurgaon tech hub.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting &amp; Monitoring:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Implement new reporting structures within your area of responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and quality across the outputs provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor the health of critical data pipelines and set up automated structures for this purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field of study. A master&#8217;s degree is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred Skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, ideally in an agile environment (e.g., Scrum).Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on mentality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in an eCommerce environment is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven track record of developing Big Data pipelines using Python\/PySpark and\/or Scala.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extensive experience with ETL tools (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, Databricks, Snowflake, Jenkins, Alteryx) through involvement in various automation projects\/workstreams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SCRUM setups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in English, both verbal and written.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in SQL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket) is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any experience with Databricks is a strong plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with Clickstream data is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by our heritage, we push the boundaries of culture and human performance.
